Learned my Lesson
So Friday night we had Riley's birthday party. She wanted a slumber party, and silly me, I thought that won't be too hard. Little did I know.....
She invited 7 girls and silly me, I thought I would have at least a couple of no RSVP's. Nope, everyone came. It was chaos, and craziness, and pretty darn loud. They had pizza, a couple of crafts, cake and ice cream, and then they got to watch Madagascar 2. They had a great time, but I think next time we will definitely limit the number to like 2. Even Riley said "next time lets not invite so many people."
Looking back, they really were good for being mostly 7-8 year olds that were super excited. And once I got them all settled down they went right to sleep. It's just not an activity to do while you're pregnant and not feeling 100%.
Yesterday my mom came over and we went to the fabric store. I needed some stuff for Girl Scouts and she wanted material to make a dress for Riley's baptism day. I had fun looking at the baby fabrics. I forgot how cute it all is. We found a pattern for her to crochet a blessing dress, but it reminded me of Alexandra's, so when we got home she helped me get into my cedar chest and pull out Alexandra's so we could make sure it was not the same dress. But as we were going through stuff in the chest (so much fun, I forgot all the wedding stuff that was in there) I went through some of the baby clothes that I had set aside. Almost everything I had I gave to my sister-in-law since we were "done", but I had saved a few of the outfits that I loved the best. And to my surprise they are still freaking cute and now I'm super excited that we're having a girl cuz I get to use the outfits again!!!!!! It's only like 5 outfits, but still it made me excited since I thought I had nothing at all.
