Sharing
Yesterday at church, Alexandra got a bag of animal crackers to take home. When we got home Riley asked me if I liked her picture she had made at church and of course I told her yes. Alexandra not to be outdone asks me if I like her bag of animal crackers. I tell her yes and ask if she will share one with me. She looks at me and then says she will share a little tiny bit. After waiting a while as she is digging around in the bag looking, I ask her if she is going to give me one. She replies "I can't find any crummies." So she has learned to share, but only the parts she doesn't want. She did eventually give me a cookie, but told me I could only have a tiny bite then I had to give it back.
Aric and my mom came over to get the girls yesterday so they could have a sleep over since Riley didn't have school today. Now it has been quite a while since my brother has been over and Tiger wasn't sure what to make of him. For those of you who haven't seen my brother he's huge! and in like a big mean scary way! So every time Aric moved, Tiger would get ready to bolt from the room, and he just kept staring at Aric. At least until Aric stared at him, then he would look away and try to look back. So we tell Aric if he tried to scare the cat, he'd probably rid him of about 5 lives, and Riley thinks this is hilarious. Every time she thinks about it she starts giggling. So to placate his niece, Aric gets all prepared and waits for Tiger to relax. And needless to say I've never seen Tiger move so fast. He ran towards the desk like he was going to go through the window by the stairs (not a glass window, just a window in the wall), but he didn't jump in time because Mom and Riley were sitting at the desk and were in his way, so he just rammed head first into the wall. After realizing that he did not make it through the window, he made his way quickly around Riley and down the hall. It was hilarious!! And yes Tiger is ok, he's just a few lives short of the 9 he started with.

EDIT: I'm adding pics I took today so you can see the mean and scary Uncle Aric and the poor little kitty Tiger.
Poor LITTLE Tiger, my foot. Alexandra has scars from Tiger - granted he did warn her first and she is mean. And you laughed just as hard as Riley when Tiger ran into the wall.
